The Grants and Performance Committee meets on June 27-29, 2017.
On June 28, the President of the UN General Assembly will hold a high-Level event on education with key stakeholders to push for greater momentum on the implementation of SDG 4 by highlighting issues such as universal access to quality education, gender equality, financing and global citizenship education.
Happening on the eve of the G20 summit, this special reception will convene head of states and governments, CEOs and senior executives from businesses interested in education, as well as advocacy champions, to emphasize the priority of guaranteeing sufficient financing to ensure that organizations like GPE have enough funding to ensure that children in the poorest countries can go to school and learn.
The webinar will help inform a global audience on the results and performance of the Global Partnership for Education over 2015/2016.
Organized by UKFIET and convening under the theme "Learning and teaching for sustainable development: Curriculum, cognition and context", this conference provides a pro-active forum for universities, non-governmental organizations, consultancy groups and professional associations to share ideas, knowledge and expertise.
