U.S. hails Afghans’ strides in education, urges for more work
Over the past 15 years, Afghanistan has made great progress in increasing the number of children that are in school and learning. However, challenges still remain. In early 2017, Afghanistan released a revised version of the national education strategic plan, which is key for coordination and assistance with organizations such as the Global Partnership for Education and the World Bank.
