David Coleman is a Senior Education Advisor at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He has extensive experience in education for development in Asia and the Pacific. David has previously served as UNICEF Chief of Education in Cambodia, Education Adviser with the New Zealand Aid Program, and Education Specialist with the AusAID Education Resource Facility. He also sits on the GPE Strategy and Impact committee. He holds a doctorate in international education policy and program evaluation, and is co-author of the book The United Nations and Education: Multilateralism, Development and Globalisation.
